Terms of Service

Last updated: January 30, 2025

By using IAM Armor ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IAM Armor provides automated IAM policy analysis for Terraform code via an open-source CLI. Hosted integrations, including a GitHub App, may be offered in the future.

3. Open-Source CLI

The IAM Armor CLI is licensed under the MIT License. Use of the CLI is governed by that license, not these Terms.

4. Data Privacy

IAM Armor processes only source inputs necessary to perform policy analysis. We do not retain your Terraform source code. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) infringe any intellectual property rights; (c) transmit malicious code; or (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, iam-armor SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
